Being a stylist at Alberta Modern Hair isn’t just a job, it’s a career. Our staff is hired right out of school, and then spends at least another year training with the Owner … and the training never stops. Our stylists participate in regular in-salon training as well as education provided by professional experts in the industry. That’s a commitment from both the stylist as well as the salon.
AMH is always on the lookout for the stylist who is interested in a career. Our current staff has been with us between 5 and 20 years, and we think that speaks volumes about the quality you get when you commit to being a client at Alberta Modern Hair.

It’s interesting to note that many of our clients have been coming to our salon for decades. That’s because our stylists get to know the client, their lifestyle and fashion sense, and their ability to work with their own hair. This knowledge is the foundation in providing a great individual look every time a client leaves the salon.
